10 of My Favorite Drugstore Products

I love beauty products, but like many others out there I am guilty of spending too much on them at times. Now don't get me wrong, I'm perfectly willing to drop a pretty penny on the right product, but I also have a bank account that I need to keep happy. That's where some of my favorite drugstore products come into play! Not all cheap products are of low quality and not all expensive products are of high quality. I've even found some drugstore products that I actually prefer over the more expensive brands. At the end of the day it all boils down to the ingredients used in the product, so read your labels and know what you're paying for. I've included a list of my favorites below, check it out and let me know which drugstore products you can't live without in the comments below!

Not Your Mother's [Clean Freak] Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoo is honestly the greatest invention since sliced bread. Clean Freak is effective, well priced, and is available in a scent free version!

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes

These are a tried and true classic and will remove even the toughest waterproof makeup. I never leave for a trip (or the house if I'm being honest) without these!

Shea Moisture Peace Rose Oil Conditioner

I've fallen in love with Shea Moisture. Their use of natural ingredients is a refreshing change from most drugstore brands and they donate a portion of their proceeds towards women-led businesses. Their products are organic, use ethically sourced ingredients, and are cruelty free. Could you honestly ask for more? This conditioner smells strongly of roses (if you're not into that, don't say I didn't warn you) and feels like an incredibly hydrating mask. I'm on my second tube and still loving it!

CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara

I started using this mascara almost a decade ago (woah). It's my all time favorite (with Covergirl Lash Blast being a close second) because of the curved brush with spiky plastic bristles, perfect for fanning out your lashes!

Trader Joe's Tea Tree Shampoo

If you struggle with an itchy scalp, dandruff, or just need a really good clean, try this Tea Tree Shampoo from Trader Joe's. It makes your scalp all tingly and it’s filled with natural ingredients like rosemary, chamomile, and nettle oil.

Biore Pore Strips

Blackheads got you down? Pull those suckers out with a classic Biore Pore Strip. Remember to remove these slowly and gently, facial skin is easily damaged.

Ms. Jessie’s Pillow Soft Curl Cream

If you have any sort of curl to your hair, you should be experimenting with Ms. Jessie’s curl products. My favorite so far is the Pillow Soft Curl Cream. It provides amazing hold and definition for bouncy curls with zero crunch. It smells great too!

Tresemme Hair Spray

I'm picky about hair spray. It needs to hold everything in place but it can’t be crunchy, sticky, or flaky. Tresemme’s line of hair sprays do just that and at a really reasonable price!

Cetaphil cleanser

There's a reason this cleanser is always recommended by dermatologists. It's ultra gentle but still plenty effective. This cleanser is great for even the most sensitive of skin types and doesn’t completely strip your skin of its oils.

Loreal Voluminous Mascara

If you want crazy volume in one swipe, look no further. This mascara gives sexy, bold results every time and is an absolute staple in my kit!
